Satish Sivasankaran, MD., MRCP., FACC., MBA., known to his patients as Dr. Siva, is a dedicated cardiologist with nearly 30 years of professional experience. He serves adults at Sunshine Cardiovascular & Vein in New Port Richey, Florida.
Dr. Siva earned his medical degree from Stanley Medical College, located in Madras, India. He received his postgraduate training in internal medicine at the prestigious Royal College of Physicians in London, United Kingdom. Also in the United Kingdom, Dr. Siva completed a senior residency in cardiology and respiratory medicine at Doncaster Royal Infirmary in Doncaster, and a cardiology fellowship at Charing Cross Hospital in London.
Dr. Siva then relocated to the United States, where he graduated from Yale University’s internal medicine program in New Haven, Connecticut. He completed a cardiology fellowship at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts, and an interventional cardiology fellowship at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles, California. He also held a mini-fellowship in endovascular intervention and pacemaker implantation at Baptist Hospital West in Knoxville, Tennessee.
At Sunshine Cardiovascular & Vein, Dr. Siva specializes in general and noninvasive cardiology, cardiac catheterization, coronary and peripheral angioplasty and stenting, carotid artery stenting, balloon pumps, Holter monitors, and venous ablation.

Dr. Siva has had board-certification in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. He recertified in cardiology and interventional cardiology.
In his free time, Dr. Siva enjoys teaching yoga, oil painting, writing, and is a trained singer of Indian classical music.
